I got a new job in a metro city and was searching for a house and contacted a lot of brokers to finalize the House Rental Contracts. Inside the city, the rentals were high and I was unable to afford that amount as the House Rental Contracts exceeded my monthly income and hence decided to search for a house in the outer parts of the city and the rentals came down drastically in the outer parts of the city as I had expected. I also had another idea of sharing the room with my friends and this will further reduce the cost and in the city, the House Rental Contracts for bachelors was not given by majority of the house owners for various reasons and finally I rented a house in the outer part of the city and joined nearly 5 of my friends in the house and agreed to the home Rental Contracts which stated that an advance amount of six months rent must be given initially and following this the monthly rental along with the current bill have to be paid on a monthly basis. We agreed to the home Rental Contracts put by the owner and paid the broker commission which was 10 percent of the advance. We were shocked to hear this and argued with the broker who just gave the information about the house and asking a huge amount. The broker started shouting at us that he was the main person behind the House Rental Contracts and demanded the amount but I enquired outside and knew that the broker commission was just 2 percent and that it self is very high and people used to give less amount than the agreed 2 percent to the brokers. We listened silently to the lecture given by the broker who arranged us the House renting Contracts demanding nearly 10 percent commission and finally I decided to leave the house because of the broker. I decided this very firmly and gave the broker a big shock and with in a week I go another beautiful house with three bed rooms referred by my superior in the office and here there was no broker commission but still we gave a good treat to our senior on finalizing the House Rental Contracts for us. The brokers have become a menace these days and they do not do any work but still want a big amount.
